Check out manufacturer's website such those of Dell, Apple and Hewlett-Packard as these usually have refurbished laptops for sale. You can also look into online stores and classified ads of your Sunday paper. Be cautious though, some are vastly overpriced. Familiarize yourself with prices of brand new units to get a reference point. If it is more than two years old, best avoid it.
